Great music resounds in Bologna
The city of Bologna and the entire region of Emilia Romagna have decided to give a strong cultural boost and fervor to the tourism sector through proposals and events of great importance. Among these are without a doubt the numerous concerts and musical events scheduled between spring and summer.
At the beginning of the week, to inaugurate the season, there was the free show held in Piazza Maggiore entitled “To Us” in support of Save the Children, with the charitable purpose of helping children affected by the current situation in Ukraine. On stage there were internationally renowned artists such as Gianni Morandi, Elisa, Brunori Sas and Diodato, just to name a few.
Music starts again after complicated years for the sector and the capital of Emilia Romagna, which has always been the birthplace of important artists and songwriters, is ready to welcome a rich proposal, particularly heterogeneous and of great appeal. If in the coming weeks, in fact, the Duse theater will host the pianist Giovanni Allevi and the singer Patty Pravo, the Teatro Comunale will host the musical show of Claudio Baglioni.
At the Teatro delle Celebrazioni, on the other hand, Francesco Guccini and Ennio Morricone’s orchestra will take turns on the calendar, for a tribute to the great composer famous for having put his talent at the disposal of the most important film directors through soundtracks that have gone down in history.
Not only theaters: with the summer, open air concerts and concerts in big arenas are starting again: from Eric Clapton, Hans Zimmer and Dua Lipa at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno to Vasco Rossi and Cesare Cremonini who will perform in the nearby Imola. In short, the calendar is full of proposals and marks the return of great music in the city.
It ‘a sign of cultural recovery to reaffirm the centrality of Bologna in the Italian and international music scene.
