Versace Holiday 2023

The magic of the festivities continues in Galleria Cavour as well as at Versace which, for this period of parties and social events, offers the public a special collection.

Holiday 2023 in fact celebrates the essence of the brand. The fashion house relies on a talented testimonial and very popular on social networks like Hyunjin, a member of the group K-pop Stray Kids, and on one of its must-haves: the baroque print that is here proposed in a swirling key on velvet fabrics, outerwear and accessories with maxi volumes.

The flagship item of the line is the new Athena shopper bag, which reinterprets the brand’s elegance and luxury thanks to a rich and sophisticated jacquard workmanship. The print, which perfectly encapsulates the iconographic references of the Versace world, succeeds in giving identity and charm both to more evening looks and to more versatile models designed for everyday wear. The tote bag is designed for an ideal that crosses gender boundaries and is equipped with both handles and a removable shoulder strap.

At the centre of the scene always remains the biting and hypnotic style typical of the Maison’s creations that recall the festive atmosphere, combining contemporaneity and elegance. Striking in the collection is the chromatic use of tone on tone in a palette that ranges from black to midnight blue to an unusual warm beige. On the other hand, pink is the predominant colour of the women’s proposals while, in the accessories, silver seems to surprisingly almost match the use of gold.

All the garments are perfect for this joyous time of year characterised by the collective festive and cheerful mood. The collection thus reflects these sentiments. “I am very happy that Hyunjin has joined the Versace family” comments DonatellaI am constantly inspired by the new voices that define global culture and for me he represents new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. He is a true Versace man”.
